“I
just know that when I go on stage,
I
give everything I have,
not
only my legs, not only my feet, not only my body.
I
try to tell a story.
Sometimes
I'm able to cry because I feel like it.
Sometimes
I'm able to love because I feel like it.”

The soul of every performance is
the audience. I believe after the dance and music performances that were
showcased in the main auditorium on the 11th of January 2014; many a
soul must be glad.
The afternoon was truly
enchanting with some breath taking music warming the hearts of the students
gathered. “Blossoms at its best” is the only way to describe the otherwise;
lazy Saturday afternoon.
The amount of effort put in by
the students could be really seen from the final day performances. It was a competition;
and the best team had to win. But; according to me; the ultimate winner was
“MUSIC & DANCE”.
There were teams from Kengeri
and City Campus; grooving to the music and matching their steps to enthrall the
audience. The grace and poise of the dancers were par excellence. Many a time;
my heart too yearned to perform on the stage and free myself from all the
shackles of academic pressure.
Western acoustics; Indian
classical music….the talent encompassing the students is truly diverse. There
is no greater appreciation for a musician; than the audience joining the
recital. The campus bands truly have some born entertainers; and we are sure to
come across their names many a time in the near future.
I cannot say which team stood
out; but I am not exaggerating when I say that the afternoon was truly special.
It’s not an easy job to reach out and touch the hearts of many; but the
performing students; did just that. The support from the audience was outstanding
and I believe the performances reflected that.
Here are few performance that we saw on stage.
